REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
ZIMBABWE ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION AND DISTRIBUTION COMPANY
CONSULTANCY: ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL SERVICES FOR PIPELINE PROJECTS

This request for expressions of interest follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in Development Business No AfDB61-01/17.
The Government of the Republic of Zimbabwe has received Grant funding from the Transition State Facility (TSF) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant to eligible payments under the contract for Environmental and Social Services for the following pipeline projects: Atlanta – Suswe 132kV line and substation; Mashava – Masvingo 132kV line and substation and Haven – Gokwe 132kV line and substation.
The principal objective of this grant is to procure consultancy services for the preparation of the relevant environmental and social impact assessment studies and resettlement action plans for each of the projects. These activities shall be carried out in accordance with the environmental and social requirements of the African Development Bank and the applicable legal requirements of the Government of Zimbabwe.
The Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC), now invites consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they have the experience and are qualified to perform the required services. Consultants may constitute joint-ventures to enhance their chances of qualification. Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below during office hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM local time.
Expressions of interest must be delivered to the address below until, 19 October 2017 before 10:00am.
